Deploying Agile/Lean in the Organization- Elimination of “Just-in-Time” Activities and Resources

At Owls Nest Capital the delivery of our products should be “just-in-time”; Agile methodologies iterative building, testing, and team environment coincides with this Agile/Lean development and deployment style. No extra items should be ordered from the suppliers and there should not be a huge pile of inventory, or to associate it with Agile “develop working software with every iteration during every 2-week sprint". Temporary or per diem workers should not be hired to deal with “unforeseen” issues you need to deal with issues as an agile team, NOT distribute the working environment making it harder to communicate face to face. Just in Time (JIT) is the lean breakthrough that allows companies to get rid of large amounts of inventory and unfinished goods. Basically, it means that widgets show up just in time for manufacturing, and production happens just in time for purchase like Dell Computers got so professional and efficient at. Agile is based on lean, the approach allows customers, to focus their time and money on the immediate needs of the business. It gives you the flexibility to change as your market and business need to change. Our clients have money at play in the stock market and they know that prices fluctuate. For many of our clients, success in the stock market requires patience and a willingness to see past fluctuations to study the larger overall picture. With experience, you gain a better ability to interpret these market fluctuations.
